To Place a Reducer

  1. Click on a reducer option in the Fittings taskbar. (Example: Concentric Reducer)
  2. Pick a point on a pipe run to place the reducer. The pipe run is split into 2 runs and the Split Run dialog displays. The two runs are listed allowing you to edit the reducing size of the new run.
Note: The original run is identified by the tag number displayed next to it in the dialog.
  3. Click on the new run to define its properties. The Properties dialog displays.
  4. Enter a tag number and size for the run.
  5. Click OK. The reducer is placed in the line with annotation reflecting the change in size.
Note: The command remains active prompting for a new reducer until you right-click to end the command.
